Print & Publication | Albertsons Point of Sale Signs

Point of Sale refers to the point in the store where the customer decides to put the item in their cart.

They will still need to pay at the register when they are done shopping, but for that item, and each one that follows...

...the sale was made once it was taken off the shelf.

Often called POS for short, these signs are put near the product to help call attention to it in a store.

Use the arrows in the slideshow to get a look at the process, and further down is a sampling of various signs I made.

Signs That Highlight What's Hot

Drawing the Customer's Eye to Great Deals & Special Products

POS signs are made using the information and art that is within the ad itself. This ensures consistency everywhere the customer encounters it in the store.

Signs promoting a digital deal have a barcode in the bottom right, so that customers can scan it with the Albertsons app to bring up and "clip" the digital coupon to their account.

The Path to POS - Albertsons

The Gate is not the only page of the ad to receive POS signs. Most of the pages in every ad will have multiple signs made to correspond to them, and some of the items will have multiple sizes made for them!

The Path to POS - Albertsons Broadway & Market Street

The same is true for the Albertsons Broadway & Market Street ad, which is designed for two very special upscale and expanded locations in Idaho's Treasure Valley.
