Good design, both of the decorations and the collateral items, enhance the experience.
Below are slideshows of numerous materials I've produced for different occasions. Use the arrows to peruse them at your leisure.
Collateral comes in many shapes, sizes, and materials. It can serve an even greater number of different purposes, ranging from environmental to educational to promotional to celebratory. It can set a tone for the event and improve the guests' experience of it.

Sponsorship is an opportunity to get your name out there more, in ways both big and small.
Vendors could also sponsor individual prizes for the retailer prize drawing. These are 8.5in x 11 in posters showcasing the prize and who is sponsoring it.
Both the Cash Back poster (left) and the Proudly Distributed table sign (right) are 8.5in x 11in. The Cash Back poster was only used at regional Buying Shows hosted by Animal Supply Co.
The Wag Bag (play on swag bag) is another sponsorship opportunity for vendors. Up to ten vendors can pay to have samples of their product (within certain size and weight limits) put in the bag to be given to retailers at an Animal Supply Co. Buying Show. Participating Vendors get their logos printed on the bag. If a vendor sponsors the entire show, their logo is printed large on the back. I created the Wag Bag logo with its waging tail icon, keeping it light so that the vendor logos get more attention.
24in x 36in Informational posters for the 2019 Global Pet Expo.
I custom-made the brightly colored product silhouettes based on real products. The purpose was to conceal what vendors are included in the bundles, eliminating any brand preference that might influence a retailer's decision to enter the prize drawing for the bundles.
Little additions like this provide the viewer with that much more to think and talk about.

The 5in x 3in Thanksgiving card that accompanied gift bags filled with seasonal treats and trinkets. I custom made the gradients on some of the leaves on the back.
The 5.5in x 2.833in 2018 Holiday Tag. Animal Supply Co. gives each of its employees a gift every December, and in 2018 it was a branded gym bag. Knowing the hole punch was to be over the lock on the chest in the front image, I made sure the back had a blank space on the right to accommodate it.
An 11in x 8.5in Certificate of Appreciation (with placeholder names) honoring customer service employees who work a particular distribution zone. Many certificates were made honoring people from each zone.
